Zechariah 5

(1) Vision 6: Floating Scroll

Then I looked up again and saw a floating scroll. The messenger [angel] asked me,

“What do you see?”

I answered,

“I see a floating scroll that’s about 30 feet long and 15 feet wide.”

Then he told me,

“The Existing One says, ‘This is the curse that will affect the entire region: all the thieves will be purged away according to what one side of the scroll says, and all swearers will be purged away according to other. I will make sure of it. The curse will enter the houses of the thieves and those who falsely swear by My name. It will spend the night in their houses and consume them, including their timber and bricks.’”

(5) Vision 7: The Bin with a Woman

Then the messenger who was talking with me brought me out and said,

“Look here and see this thing that’s emerging.”

I asked,

“What is that?”

He said,

“It’s a storage bin. That’s how they look in this region.” (As he said that, the metal lid was lifted up.) “And this is a woman inside it.” 

Then he said,

“This is so wrong!”

And he threw her into the container and slammed the lid shut.

Then I saw two women coming out with wind/spirit in their wings. They had wings like storks and they lifted the storage bin up between the earth and the sky. Then I asked the messenger,

“Where are they taking the container?”

He said,

“To build a house for her in Shinar [Babylon/Iran]. When it’s ready, she’ll be placed there on her pedestal.”
