Psalm 29 (Rhyming)

If you’re the Lord’s daughter or the Lord’s son,
Ascribe strength and fame to the Mighty One.
Ascribe to God the glory that he’s due,
Bow to God as his holiness shines through.

Jehovah’s voice resounds over the sea,
The Lord thunders away gloriously,
He’s sovereign over my difficulties.
With power his voice is impregnated,
With beauty his voice is saturated.
His voice can split Lebanon’s cedar trees,
Into splinters his voice can shatter these.
He makes Lebanon jump up in the air,
Like a wild bull that was given a scare.
Out of the Lord’s mouth fiery flames are spurt,
The sound of his voice shakes the whole desert.
The Kadesh desert squirms beneath the ground,
The Lord’s voice makes the deer scurry around.
He takes the whole forest and strips it bare,
His glory is what we will all declare.

God sat on the throne during the flood’s days,
He’ll remain king forever and always.
To the Lord’s people power is supplied,
A blessing of peace the Lord will provide.
