Psalm 3 (Rhyming)

God, my enemies are multiplying!
So many stand against me fortifying.
About me this is what they say:
"God won't save him—there's just no way."

God, you are a shield—you surround me,
You lift my eyes—your glory’s all around me.
I lift up my voice to God and cry,
From his holy mountain I hear him reply.
God supports me when I sleep & when I wake,
So even if surrounded by 10,000,
I will not fear; I will not break.

Stand up and save me, Jehovah my God!
Across the cheek my enemies you have battered,
The teeth of the wicked you have shattered.
Wherever God is, salvation is there,
With your people, blessings you share.
