Psalm 13 (Rhyming)

Lord, how long will you hide your face from me?
Will you ignore me perpetually?
How long will my soul be filled with dismay?
Sorrow fills my heart every single day.
How long will my foe rise up above me?

Oh Yahweh my God, hear me and reply;
I’ll die if you don’t enlighten my eyes.
“I’ve overcome him,” all my foes will say,
My foes will rejoice when they see me sway.

But you are so good, and I trust in you,
My heart rejoices because you rescue.
Oh Existing One, I will sing to thee,
Since you’re generous in dealing with me.
