Grain Offerings

Whenever someone gives a grain offering to me, it needs to be fine flower. The person offering it will need to drizzle oil and incense over it and bring it to the priests. He will then take a handful of it and burn that portion on the altar as the fragrant memorial to the Existing One. The rest of the grain should then go to the priests (Aaron and his family)—that is also a sacred part of my food offerings.

When you bring a grain offering that has been baked in the oven as your gift, the loaves need to be made from fine flour, without yeast, and mixed with oil (or they can be yeastless crackers smeared with oil). If the grain offering was baked on a griddle, it needs to be made from fine flower, without yeast, and mixed with oil. You must break it into pieces and pour oil on it, and that will serve as your grain offering. If your grain offering was cooked in a pan, it needs to be made from fine flower with oil. To give these grain offerings to the Existing One, bring them to the priest, and he'll bring them to the altar. The priest will burn the memorial portion on the altar as a fragrant food offering to the Existing One. But the rest of the grain offering can be used by the priests which is also a sacred part of the Existing One's food offerings.

Grain offerings for the Existing One should never be made with yeast. You should never burn yeast or honey as food offerings to me. You can bring them to me as an offering of your income, but they should never be given as a fragrant offerings. You should season all of your grain offerings with salt. Don't forget to add the preservative of salt to the offerings you bring me, because I preserve my commitment to you. You should always add salt to all your offerings.

"If you offer me a grain offering as the first fruits of your income, it needs to be fresh ears, roasted in the fire, crushed new grain. You need to put oil and incense on it, and that will be your grain offering. The priest will burn a portion of the crushed grain with a portion of the oil and all of the incense as a memorial food offering to me.
