Romans 16

(1) Welcome Phoebe

Let me endorse Phoebe to you. She’s a fellow believer who serves at the church in Cenchrea (a port in Corinth, modern-day Greece). Please welcome her in the Commander as if she were God's representative. Help her with whatever she needs, because she has helped so many people, including me. 

(3) Greet everyone for me

Say hello to Prisca and Aquila, my fellow workers in the Chosen One Jesus who risked their own necks to save my life. I’m so thankful for them and all the non-Israelite churches.

And say hello to the church that meets in their house. Greet my beloved Epaenetus who was the first person from Asia to convert to the Chosen One. Greet Mary who has worked hard for you. Greet Andronicus and Junias, my relatives and fellow prisoners. They stand out from the rest of the missionaries, and they were in the Chosen One before me. Greet Ampliatus, who I love in the Commander. Greet Urbanus, our coworker in the Chosen One and my beloved Stachys. Greet Apelles, who is approved in the Chosen One.

Say hello to everyone in the Aristobulus household. Greet Herodion, my relative.

Say hello to everyone in the Narcissus household who are in the Commander. Greet Tryphaena and Tryphosa who are both workers in the Chosen One. Greet beloved Persis who has worked hard in the Chosen One. Greet Rufus, a renowned man in the Chosen One along with his mom who I also view as a mother. Greet Asyncritus, Phlegnon, Hermes, Patrobas, Hermas, and the believers with them. Greet Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister, Olympas, and everyone else who’s with them and employed by God. Greet each other with a holy kiss. All of the Chosen One’s churches send you their greetings. 

(17) Beware of people who contradict Christianity

Now I implore you, my fellow Christians: keep an eye out for anyone who causes controversies and traps that contradict the principles you learned. Turn away from those people. They’re enslaved to their own appetites instead of to the Chosen One. They use sweet talk and flattery to deceive innocent hearts.

I’m delighted with the reports everyone has heard about your obedience, but I just want you to be experts in the good things and ignorant in the evil things. The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May our Commander Jesus give you his grace. 

(21) We greet you

My fellow worker, Timothy, greets you, and so do my relatives (Lucius, Jason, and Sosipater). I, Tertius, (the one writing this letter) also greet you in the Commander. Gaius is hosting me and the entire church, and he greets you too, along with Quartus, the believer. May grace from Commander Jesus the Chosen One be with all of you. 

(25) Glory to God who can establish you

God is able to establish you in my good news and in Jesus’s message. He can establish you in the mystery that has been kept secret in the prophecies for ages which has now been revealed. He can establish you in the commands that the infinite God gave to all the nations. May the only wise God receive glory forever through Jesus the Chosen One. For sure.
