Psalm 1 (Rhyming)

If joy is something you wish to obtain,
Then from evil advice you must abstain.
Don’t walk along the paths that sinners take,
Do not sit in the seats that mockers make.

Let the law of the Lord be your delight,
Meditate on it every day and night.

You’ll be like a tree in its prime,
Watered, and producing fruit in due time,
Your leaves won't wither or dry out,
Whatever you do will flourish and sprout.

The wicked aren't like that though,
Like ash in the wind: away they will blow.
On judgment day the evil won't stand,
Among the upright, the wicked will be banned.

The way of the upright: God can recognize,
But the way of the wicked: it always dies.
