2 Chronicles 8
Solomon’s accomplishments
After building the Existing One's temple and his own palace for twenty years, Solomon rebuilt the cities that Hiram had given to him and settled the Israelites in them.
Solomon builds cities and acquires slaves
Then Solomon went o Hamath-zobah and captured it. He built Tadmor in the wilderness and all the store cities he built in Hamath. He also built Upper Beth-horon and Lower Beth-horon, which were fortified cities with walls, gates, and bars. He built Baalath, and all of Solomon's other store cities. He also built all the cities for his chariots and horsemen. Solomon built whatever he wanted in Jerusalem, Lebanon and throughout the entire kingdom. Solomon drafted slaved from all the non-Israelites, including any remaining descendants of the Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites. These people still remain slaves to this day. But Solomon didn't make the Israelites slaves; instead he made them soldiers, officers, chariot commanders, and horsemen. King Solomon appointed 250 chief officers to exercise authority over the people.
Solomon moves Egyptian wife
Solomon moved Pharaoh's daughter out of the city of David and into a house he built for her, since he said "My wife shouldn't live in David's house since the place where the Existing One's ark came from is holy".
Solomon faithfully observes traditions
Just like he was required to do every day, Solomon offered burnt offerings on the Existing One's altar. He offered according to Moses's orders for the Sabbaths, new moons, and the three annual feasts (Feast of Unleavened Bread, Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of Booths). Solomon appointed divisions of priests for their service, Levites to praise and minister, and gatekeepers stationed at each gate, just like his father David had ordered. They faithfully kept the king's orders to the priests and Levites regarding the treasuries.
Those are all the things Solomon accomplished from the day the foundation was laid for the Existing One's house until it's construction was completed.
Solomon acquires more wealth
Then Solomon went to Ezion-geber and Eloth on Edom's shoreline. Hiram sent him ships and sailors who went to Ophir together with Solomon's servants where they acquired 33,750 pounds of gold and brought it to King Solomon.
