2 Chronicles 5
Construction of God’s temple is finished
When all of Solomon's work on the Existing One's house was finally finished, he brought in all the gold, silver, and vessels his father David had dedicated and stored them in the treasuries of God's house.
Ark is moved into temple
Then Solomon assembled Israel's elders, tribe leaders, and patriarchs in Jerusalem to bring the ark of the Existing One's commitment out of David's city, Zion. All of Israel's men gathered before the king at the feast in the seventh month with the elders, and the Levites picked up the ark. They brought the ark, the meeting tent, and all the holy vessels that were in the tent. Then King Solomon and all the Israelites stood before the ark and sacrificed so many sheep that they couldn't even count them all. Then the priests brought the Existing One's ark to its place in the inner sanctuary of the Most Holy Place and placed it under the cherubims' wings. The cherubims' wings spread out over the ark, making a covering for it. The ark's poles were so long that the ends could be seen from the Holy Place before reaching the inner sanctuary (but they couldn't be seen from outside). And thats where they are even to this day. There was nothing inside the ark except the two tablets that Moses had put there when the Existing One made a commitment with the Israelites in Horeb after leaving Egypt. All the priests who were there dedicated themselves no matter which division they were from. All the Levitical singers, Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun, and their sons and kinsmen were dressed in fine linen. They had cymbals, harps, and lyres and stood east of the altar with 120 priests who were trumpeters. In unison, all these vocalists and trumpeters performed a song to praise and thank the Existing One. Together with trumpets, cymbals, and vocalists, they sang:
"He is good, his steady love never ends."
God fills his temple as a cloud
When the priests left the Holy Place, the Existing One's house was filled with a cloud so thick that they couldn't continue ministering because the Existing One's glory had filled up his entire house completely.
